Well, for starters, I picked my grandma up from her doctor's appointment and took her home and then did some very productive shopping. First I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. Some coconut to make this tonight. Then I also got some toothpaste for Doug (he likes only the non-whitening kind), some hangers for Doug's closet (have to get rid of the wire ones), a pair of shorts for me and some sippy cups. I'm sure you're wondering about the sippy cups...well, I watched Bryson & Jackson last night and it never fails that Desire' doesn't bring a cup for him. Plus, we see Doug's family quite a bit and truly, it doesn't matter how old the kids are, they have a tendency to spill. I wouldn't feel bad at all making anyone under the age of 8 use one. Now, if I could just get some baby gates & toys, we'd be all set when the kids come over.
I also got a new shower curtain today. Big Lots...$7.99. Very cute and very shabby chic. That's what I'm redoing the bathroom in. Remember the picture and cabinet in my old bedroom...perfect for the bathroom. You know what else will be perfect? The roses in the shadow box that you gave me. It will go really well with the new shower curtain.
And I got something for you today. It's this book. Only I got it at Sam's for way cheaper. I also got this for myself which is what inspired my purchase for you. I love these books and the 12th one came out just this week. I have too much reading to do as it is, so I went ahead and bought it so I could read it at my leisure. These are the funniest books I have ever read and if you have already read the first one, let me know. I can donate to the library or something, but if not, don't read it yet! I got one more book today (3 books is a lot for me, I know! Gotta love Sam's prices. I guess they don't list paperbacks online though.), just so I can reread it whenever I feel like it.
Oh, I also picked up some yarn at Big Lots. I'm going to make myself a scarf. Once I get around to making all the stuff for everyone else that I keep saying I'm going to make. ;)
Now, I should really go and get the chicken out and pick up the house and hide my purchases. I don't feel too bad about the stuff though. I got good prices. I would feel guilty about the books, but I saw today that you can preorder Madden 2007, and I know Doug will be getting that soon. That'll be at least $50. So $27 on 3 books is a bargain!

Three books in one day! That is alot for you! Thank you for the book though. I haven't read it yet, even though I promised you a LONG time ago that I would!
Then again... have you finished the 4th, 5th and 6th Harry Potter?
Shame on both of us!
Sounds like you had a good shopping trip though. It makes me wish I had been there with you!
Soon you will be, though and we can shop till we drop!
Actually, I'm pretty excited to read the "numbered" series now. I've gotten more into mystery-type books lately.
