It looks like we're going to Vegas! I told Doug tonight that you guys wanted us to go to Vegas with you this December and he seemed excited about it. He has a floating day that he has to take off between October and January 1st, so he figures he could use it for this. The one nice thing about him working nights is that he goes in on Sunday nights, so when he gets off on Friday mornings, that is the start of his weekend. So he could take a Sunday night off and we could fly out on a Friday morning and stay until Monday. How does that sound to you guys?
S0...MUCH...PLANNING!!!
Are you guys wanting to renew your vows??? That would be so sweet and maybe it would give Doug a shove in the right direction. :-) Should we stay at the same hotel? I want to do stuff this time. Of course, this time I plan on having money to spend. I do want to go here. How could we resist a free tour of a candy factory?? I don't know what will be more fun, planning the trip or actually going! :-)

Yay, we're going to Vegas!
To answer a couple of questions...
1. I don't know yet if we are renewing our vows. Josh and I plan on doing this at some point, but to be honest, I want him to ask me this time. I want a moment like the three stone anniversary band commercial where the couple is in Italy and her parents are on the steps and he gets down on one knee and asks her if he'll marry him, again. So cute!
It is really good this is coming up, though, because I need a new ring!
2. I don't think we're going to stay at the Exaliber this time, we're going to try and get a hotel more central on the strip. (So we don't kill ourselves walking around.) So far the cheapest nice hotel I've found mid-strip is the Aladdin (which has an indoor mall!). We'll have to look around though, and see what we can find. There are alot of really good hotels on the strip! Josh is pushing for the newly built Hooters hotel. He's missing the point of the trip, I think.
3. Just to let you know, the dates of the trip aren't solid yet. Since Josh will be in school, we'll have to wait and see how his finals fall before we set a concrete date. I do know that we won't be able to go the weekend of our anniversary because he'll still have classes. We will definitely be there over a weekend, though, because that is the only time my brother can come. (Yes, Chalie is coming too! But he promises not to get us plastered this time.)
I love the candy factory thing. I also think it'd be great if we could see some shows this time...
1. I really do hope Josh will propose again. Have you been looking at the 3 stone rings? They don't have to be terribly expensive (unless you want a REALLY sparkly one!).
2. I was looking up hotels last night and I was checking into flight/hotel packages. It's going to cost a pretty penny, but it will be worth it!
3. I don't think we really have anything except that I don't think we could get away if it gets too close to Christmas. Othrewise, I think we're okay.
