Scrapbooking
I did a little scrapbooking earlier. My intent was to finish the pictures from Las Vegas, but after I went through them again, I decided I was finished. I realized that I must have put most of the good pictures in the album I gave you. That's okay though. I'm happy with what is in my album and I could always make copies from my negatives if I wanted to do that. I did get our Christmas pictures done, well in the album. I still have journaling to do. Unfortunately, I got my camera on Christmas morning, so I didn't really have any pictures of my family. That's okay though, I'll make sure to get them all this year. I didn't take any Mother's Day pictures either. I need to be better about taking my camera with me. We are barbecuing at my parent's this afternoon, so maybe I'll bring my camera with me today. I really just need to quit taking pictures of the cats! They are actually going to get their own album, how sad is that?

I love my Vegas album you made for me! It does have some really good pictures, including our famous elvis pic. I love that one!
I think it is purrfectly okay for the kitties to have their own album. I'm thinking of making one for my animals.
What album size do you use? I'm working on a 12x12 for our vacation pictures, but I like 8x8 much better. I'm thinking I'll use that size for the girl's pictures.
I'm making an 8x8 (maybe it's 7x7) for the kitties. Everything else has been 12x12 except for the mini wedding albums I made for you & Angela. I like making the little ones too. Sometimes it's hard to fill the page on a 12x12, and I hate to do too many embellishments like you see in the scrapbooking magazines. I can't see spending that much time (or money) on a page. I think it's more important to have your pictures on there and be done with it. That's probably why my albums are so plain.
