Redecorating Urges
I got a new rug and now I want to redo my whole living room. I want new curtains, preferably chocolate brown. New lamps, 2 that match is not too much to ask for, is it? New picture frames to put up the pictures of my adorable daughter and other new wall decor to replace the tired old stuff that I have. Will any of this happen? Doubtful. New picture frames at least. As for the rest, it's probably not likely. So, now I need to refurbish my old stuff and make it feel new again. Suggestions?

Love the rug! Could you keep your current lamps but replace the shades? That would make enough of a difference, without having to buy new lamps, which are sooo expensive!
As far as the curtains, these are a great deal. And though they don't come in chocolate brown, I think the cinnibar color looks like it would match your rug.
Forget what I said about the cinnibar...My work computer made the rug look dark red, but it's not! Oops.
BTW, I love the blue and brown together in the picture of your rug. Robin's egg blue would make a great accent color!
