I'm thinking that buying a crib set is overrated seeing as how you can't use the bedspread or the bumpers. Sheets and the bed skirt don't seem to cost much, so that might be a better option, as opposed to buying the whole set. So I wandered around the Target website tonight and this is what I came up with.
Adorable Giraffe Set
Cute Safari Set
Alphabet Soup Set
This is totally only for Doug...I definitely would not spend $40 on this.

Love them, especially the colors in the alphabet one.
You may want to consider getting a bumper as well. We went back and forth about putting one in the crib (since some say they are unsafe) but I can't even count the number of times the bumper has saved Hazel's poor noggin. (She likes to raise up and fall back. She thinks its fun.)
About bumpers being unsafe because of sids, I honestly think that's a bunch of hogwash. By the time a baby is old enough to move around in their crib, they're old enough to move out from under the bumper if its hampering their breathing. (That's the major argument against bumpers. People think that babies don't have enough control over their movements to push something away if it is harming their ability to breath.)
Wow, a mini speach! Didn't think I had that much to say on the subject...
BTW, did you see that growth chart you can buy to go with the alphabet soup one? Super cute.
I really like that all these sets have lots of pieces you can buy to go with it. Switch plates, nightlights, etc. Really cool.
