So, a few more open houses this weekend. The stone house I linked to previously (really awesome, but the realtor let us know that it was unlikely to last another week on the market. There has been alot of interest.)
After that we saw yet another raised ranch. The house was *yawn* but the yard and surroundings were awesome. A horse field is right across the road with five or six horses playing. In the back is nothing but corn fields. Peaceful. I only wish I liked the house. :(
Finally, a house we haven't seen yet, but could be a contender. We'll see it one day, if we decide we're super serious.

You're right, the first house is kind of blah, but remember that's just cosmetic. You can always change wall colors, trims and whatnot to make it feel more like you guys.
The 2nd house was really neat. Definitely you should go see it in person!
Hmmm... the 2nd house I linked to is across the street from a school. The raised ranch is looking better and better. ;p
