This isn't even the half of it. We had a tension rod in a make-shift closet devoted to "She Who Has Not Yet Been Named" and it bent and fell under the weight of it all. This little girl is going to have one awesome wardrobe.
The sad thing is, I know I'll buy more. And, I know she needs more. (I understand that babies often wear more than one outfit in a day because of...activities.)
Gwendolyn is still on our short list, but we're not convinced yet. We have a couple of names under consideration:
Rosalyn (Rosie), Josephine (Josie), Violet, Hazel and Gwendolyn.
Those names are all adorable! I'll be jealous if you use Rosalyn, actually just Rosie. It's on my secret girl name list that I plan on trotting out when I'm 2 days past my due date and miserable and Doug is ready to give me whatever I want! :) But the likelihood that I will have a girl is slim to none, so don't let any of this stop you from using it. I think Violet is the one that goes best with your last name though. Any thoughts on middle names? Might I suggest Rose to go with Violet? Then she can be pretty & colorful like her Aunt Misty! :)
