Home Ownership

Doug and I may be on the road to home ownership very shortly. Desire emailed me today and said that they were definitely not moving back here and wanted to sell the house and give us the opportunity to buy it first. Yay! So I talked to Doug about it and he was very much into the idea and I talked to Desire tonight and that went well. She's thinking somewhere around $70,000. Which is less than what the house appraised for 7 years ago, but she wants us to have some equity. Anyway, it would be an ideal situation for us, I think. We really do love it here and would love it if the house were really ours. Now we really just need to do the whole mortgage thing and that is the part that scares me the most!
