First off, Evie seems to be much better. She hasn't thrown up in 24 hours and she finally gained weight! We've had her in the clinic every day this week and she's finally back up to the weight she was before she went into the hospital, 8 lbs. 10 oz. (She had lost 6 oz. in the hospital).
I was looking back at stuff I had written about Hazel just after her 2 month appointment and she weighed over 12 pounds! No wonder Evie seems so little bitty tiny to me.
Hazel's been a real cutie lately. She learned to blow kisses, gives out hugs and now repeats words back to you if you ask her to. You can see the effort she puts into it to pronounce the word just right. We've finally gotten a clear, "Bot-tle" out of her after months of "Baba!" She's so pleased with herself that she says it all the time. Also, Josh is now called "Momma" and Evie is "Dada"
Now, on to Halloween. Have you decided what you are doing for Katie yet? We bought the cutest little witch costume for Hazel, so I think we're going to have Evie be a black cat. I just need to find one of those onesie style cat outfits and we'll be all set.
